  Town of Delavan

The historic downtown area which has recently renovated with its brick streets, boasts a unique hometown shopping experience. You'll find antique shops, arts and crafts, gift shops and quaint ice cream parlors all along main street.

The town has had a long and colorful history from the prehistoric burial grounds of the Potawotomi Indian Tribe to the The P.T. Barnum Circus, "The Greatest Show On Earth," being founded here in 1871.

Also Lake Delavan is home to four of Frank Lloyd Wright's architectural gems such as the Fred B. Jones Estate with its four buildings now restored to it's original condition.
